How does the Boomer Dance Party program work?
House Bands: The program provides a “house band” for each Boomer Dance Party venue with a rotating cadre of professional level musicians, who all know, and can sing and play the best pop, rock, and classic rock dance songs drawn from the Boomer years.
Music selection: The music performed spans from the mid 1950s through the 1980s. Featured are top hits, dance numbers and sing-alongs.
Dates and Times: The Boomer Dance Party is always held on Sunday afternoons from 3:00 to 5:40 pm. Dance sets are a full 40 minutes long. Intermissions are a strict 20 minutes in duration. Consistent days and times contribute to developing a loyal following. Ending the music after a 40 minute set and shutting down at 5:40 are done to encourage attendees to make beverage purchases between the dance sets; and then to partake of dining facilities at the venue following the event.
